Centella asiatica (Hydrocotyle asiatica) este originara din India, unde este cunoscuta sub denumirea de Gotu Kola si este folosita in medicina traditionala chineza si in cea ayurvedica. Extractul sau maceratul plantei aduce beneficii tesuturilor deteriorate si problemelor venoase sau circulatorii si imbunatateste fluxul sanguin. Extrem de benefic in vindecarea pielii afectate de crapaturi, rani de diverse origini, arsuri si in cicatrizarea corecta a tesuturilor.

Componenti principali: acizi grasi, asiaticoside, madecassoside, brahmoside, brahminoside, campesterol, stigmasterol, sitosterol, elemente volatile.
