Este deja bine stiut cum Cleopatra includea laptele de capra in ritualurile ei de frumusete. Mai putini stiu insa ca frumusetea acesteia se datora in mare parte uleiului de chimen negru.

Acest ulei se obtine prin presarea la rece a semintelor plantei Nigella sativa, care creste in regiunile cu climat mai cald din Europa, Africa de Nord si sud-vestul Asiei. Este un lichid clar, maroniu inchis, de o vascozitate medie si cu un miros caracteristic aromatic.

Uleiul de chimen negru contine: acid oleic, acid palmitic, acid streatic, Omega 3 si 6, proteine, acid folic, vitaminele B1, B2, B3 si minerale precum calciu, cupru, fier, fosfor, zinc, benefice pentru tenul tau.

Fiind un bun antiseptic si antiinflamator, uleiul de chimen negru este benefic tenului acneic, predispus la imperfectiuni. Este recomandat tenului uscat, sensibil si iritat. Datorita proprietatilor antioxidante, previne  imbatranirea prematura a pielii, pe care o hidrateaza, si reduce ridurile. Consolideaza bariera naturala de protectie a pielii. Ajuta la eliminarea petelor pigmentare si este adjuvant in caz de negi si alunite. Stimulează cicatrizarea si regenerarea tesuturilor. Cum utilizezi uleiul de chimen negru?
