Oil extracted from macadamia nuts has an interesting profile of essential fatty acids, is a rich source of palmitoleic acid, thus helping to delay skin aging, acts at the cellular level to restore the integrity of the skin. It is an oil with fast absorption, nourishing, soothing and a good base for various cosmetic skin and hair care products. It is used successfully in the healing of scars and sunburn. The composition of oil obtained from Macadamia nuts is similar to that of human sebum and the presence of essential fatty acids provides protective properties.

The benefits of macadamia oil are multiple. Here are some that will surely convince you to use it too:
- Protective Factor: Macadamia oil provides a skin protection factor against UV rays (the SPF is somewhere between 6-8). The protection is given by cinnamic acid, which is well known for its protective properties on the skin;
- Cleanser: Exactly! This oil is a good cleanser. Like coconut oil, you can use it in the first oil-removing phase (see here)! Put a sufficient amount on a cleanser disk and you will see that the most resistant mascara traces will be removed;
- Scrub: Once or twice a week, a scrub is recommended for the body. Mix macadamia oil with essential oil in your favorite flavor and a little brown sugar and enjoy the benefits. Use regular macadamia oil to restore your skin to beauty and keep it supple;
- Replace the face cream: Macadamia oil is excellent if you face greasy spots, pimples and skin too dry or too fat. Mix macadamia oil with jojoba oil and use this mix to hydrate your face;
- For lips: Macadamia oil moisturizes your lips intensely and leaves them soft and velvet. you can quickly make a lip balm. Use macadamia oil, beeswax and shea butter, one teaspoon of each. You can also add coconut oil. Then melt them in a glass bowl, through the bain-marie process, that is, in a steam bath. Pour the liquid into a lip balm container, which you can find in the store, and keep the lip balm cold so it does not soften;
- Repair Nails: Heats up a small amount of oil in the microwave but does not leave it too long, it does not have to be hot. Apply it to the nail base and let it work overnight. It will hydrate your nails and prepare them for your care ritual (see some tips for healthy nails here);
- Treat scars and stretch marks: The substances that this oil contains, act at the cellular level to restore the skin’s integrity, protect the cells and contribute to their rapid regeneration. Massage each evening the troubled area with a few drops of macadamia oil and you will see an improvement in the appearance of the skin;
- Prevents wrinkles: The high concentration of palmitoleic acid and oleic acid helps prevent premature aging of the skin and prevents the appearance of fine wrinkles. Massage the face, neck, and decollete skin with macadamia oil to prevent the effects of aging skin.
