I told you in a previous article that I bought a caravan, but due to the pandemic I had not been able to get it out on a road yet. Last week, I finally managed to get to the mountain by caravan. I was in a campsite near the Voina chalet, super nice and cheap. The weather was perfect: a clear sky, a smooth and cool breeze, perfect for great relaxation. I had finally run away from the super crowded and extremely hot Bucharest. I merged with the mountain, in fast, crystalline rivers, steep waterfalls, which roll quickly down the valley, cold and sharp rocks, gentle ridges, full of alpine meadows. The mountain is life, and it invigorates you every time!
It is ideal in the mountains to have comfortable equipment. I admit that I reserved this vacation for relaxation, and less for hiking, although I climbed a little on the rocks, and walked among the high and dense forests, and on the bare ridges, burned by the hot sun.
For the mountain trails I did, I didn’t need specialized equipment. However, I kept the boots, which are indispensable for me on the mountain. A pair of tights and a yoga top make up the perfect equipment to roam the mountains during the summer.
