Ingredients:

For the first layer:

  • 3 kg apples;
  • 200 g butter;
  • 200 g of sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon;
  • Bread Crumbs.

For the cream:

  • 6 egg yolks;
  • 250 g sugar;
  • 2 envelopes vanilla sugar;
  • 1 l milk;
  • 160 g flour;
  • 100 g butter.

For icing:

  • 6 egg whites;
    100 g powdered sugar.

Method of preparation:

Wash the apples, clean them and cut them on a large grater. Mix them with the sugar, the cinnamon and the diced butter. In a large tray, with high edges, previously anointed with butter, put a layer of bread crumbs, over which you pour apples prepared earlier. Bake until homogenized.

Step 2: Preparing the cream:

The yolks, the sugar, the vanilla sugar, the flour and 4-5 tablespoons of milk are mixed, until a paste is obtained, which you will dilute with the rest of the milk. Boil them at bain-marie, stirring constantly, until thickened. Then take the mixture from the heat, add the butter, and then pour the cream obtained over the first layer.

Step 3: Preparing icing:

The egg whites beat the foam, gradually adding the powdered sugar, until it hardens. Pour over the cream, then place in the oven tray, until the icing is colored.

The cake is cut when it is cold.

 

Wash and clean the apples.

Put the apples on a large grater.

Mix the apples with the sugar, the cinnamon and the diced butter.

Grease a large tray with butter.

They sprinkled crumb on the bottom of the tray.

Add the apples and bake in until homogenized.

The yolks, the sugar, the vanilla sugar, the flour and 4-5 tablespoons of milk are mixed, until a paste is obtained.

Then add the rest of the milk.

Boil them in the bain-marie, stirring constantly.

Leave to bain-marie until the mixture thickens.

Then take the mixture from the heat and incorporate the butter.

Then pour the cream obtained over the first layer, evenly.

You can now start icing.

The whites beat until foamy, gradually adding the powdered sugar.

Mix the foam until it hardens.

Pour the foam over the cream, then place the tray in the oven.

Keep the cake in the oven until the glaze is colored.

Cut the cake after it has cooled down and enjoy the cool taste!
