In this article I will present you the products from this range and I will leave you with a delicious recipe for homemade cheese pies.
Romanian pies with homemade cheese
Ingredients:
- 100 g Bio Covalact Country butter;
- 100 g of flour;
- 100 g Bio Covalact Country Cottage Cheese;
- salt.
Also for the filling you will need:
- 250 g Bio Covalact Country Cottage Cheese;
- 1 egg;
- 2 spoons of sugar.
Method of preparation:
A soft dough is made from butter, flour, cottage cheese and salt. Roll out a square sheet, fold it in 4 and refrigerate for 10 minutes. The operation is repeated 2-3 times. This will make your dough come out very tender. Then roll out a large sheet of dough, cut squares (larger or smaller according to preferences; I cut the dough into 4 equal parts). The filling is made by mixing cottage cheese with egg, salt and sugar. Fold the pies into the desired shape. Optionally, you can brush the pies with egg yolk, for a more attractive color. Then put them in the tray and put them in the oven, on medium heat, until they turn brown.
They are served warm.
